Our teams for the 2026/27 season

Chorlton Rovers is a not-for-profit community club, formed in 2025 and playing in the Manchester Respect League. We run two age groups, both training on Wednesday evenings at Hough End Playing Fields in Chorlton and playing their matches on Saturday mornings.

Under 7s School Year 2 from September 2026 For children turning 6 or 7 during the season. Small-sided football, lots of touches on the ball, and no experience needed. About our U7s → Under 8s School Year 3 from September 2026 For children turning 7 or 8 during the season. Our U8s have a full season in the league behind them and are still welcoming new players. Qualified, DBS-checked coaches, first-aid trained and safeguarding qualified.
Match kit provided, so there is no strip to buy before your child starts.
All abilities genuinely welcome. You do not need to have played before.
Everyone plays. We rotate the squad fairly, so nobody spends the season on the sideline.

We are based in Chorlton-cum-Hardy and welcome families from across south Manchester: Whalley Range, Didsbury, Withington, Sale and Stretford.
